Nestled within Belfast's Shaftesbury Square, the Wok Oriental had an established and loyal following.  The challenge - to lift this perceived run of the mill take away and project it a hidden gem, a dedicated destination for culinary excellence not just stopped by after a night out.

The small and intimate atmosphere is modernized by the use of the walnut colored timbers and the accent greens in the see-through perspex chairs bringing design classicism to a building not normally associated with it.  A specially selected graphic image rises up the main wall and continues over half the ceiling - making the bamboo image a more powerful color and cultural statement.

The Wok Oriental flips the idea of the take-away on its head and raises the bar for small space design solutions.  Simplicity in color married with design classics make this a take away talking point.
