Revival nightclub

clubs

Set in the picturesque village town of Oldcastle County Meath, The Oldcastle House hotel is an established well known hotel with a boutique ambience.

The former ‘Onyx’ nightclub was dated and lacked an edge that contemporary night clubs require to lift them beyond just a room with seats and flashing lights that people expect from ‘rural’ nightclubs.

The new layout called for a combination of ‘flow’ and comfort brought together with quality fabrics and colours. New curved banquette seating is introduced to both main elevations bringing movement and dynamism mirroring the curved ceilings. The fabrics are practical but with a hint of ‘glitz’ in their metal style lustre. Vinyl flooring cut into flowing curved sections, covers the worn wooden floor and exaggerates the contour of the seating. New feature wallcoverings in blacks and greys bring depth and texture to the once bland wall surfaces and the introduction of commissioned artwork is evocative and fashionable.

A feature ‘sound to light’ Led colour changing effects wall has been installed acting as a backdrop to the dancefloor creating motion and light to an area that was once just painted plaster. New decorative ‘Zebra’ pendants to the seated area and above the bar are the final touch in completing this new concept.

‘Revival’ by its very name has been revived! A once ‘run of the mill’ disco has been injected with a new lease of life - thought provoking and vivacious - Revival can compete with any space in this genre and is an effective example of craftsmanship, conceptualisation and budgeting.
